I grew up in Middle Island, New York, a rural-suburban area where I would explore the woods behind my house with my friends as a child.
We’d build forts, go camping, hiking, ice skating and ride our bikes through the trails. That is where I developed my love for adventure, exploration and the outdoors.
I attended Salisbury State University (now Salisbury University) and studied Mass Media Communications with a concentration in TV & Film production. After graduation I started working in video production in San Diego, California, and had to opportunity to travel to numerous places around the world: Spain, Puerto Rico, Cabo, Whistler, Dubai, Sharjah, Caracao, St. Martin and Aruba, to name a few. Eventually, I settled into the American standard lifestyle but started to forget the experiences I had in my travels, succumbing to what modern society deemed normal.
Meeting Eric and John fresh off their worldly travels motivated me to reevaluate my life, get out of my comfort zone and begin living the life I wanted to live: traveling, meeting people, showing compassion, sharing experiences and making a difference. It was then that we created the Gypsies and I knew that this was my life’s calling.
The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving.
